Spinach Dip

spinach dip

Ingredients:

1/2 cup mayonnaise.
1 x 250g packet of cream cheese.
1 cup of sour cream.
1/2 x packet of French onion soup mix OR leek soup mix.
1 x 250g pack of frozen spinach.
1 x bunch of chopped shallots.
Salt & pepper to taste.

Method:

  • Thaw the spinach & remove excess water. This is important or your dip will be watery.

  • Combine all the dip ingredients in a large bowl.

  • Spinach dip can be served either warm or cold. Microwave for approximately 2 minutes to warm.

Serve with:

  • Bread chunks.

  • Cheese biscuits.

  • Corn chips.

  • Raw vegetables.
