Sand Art
Brownies
This is a popular
gift which involves layering the brownie
ingredients in a jar to look like sand art.
Ingredients:
Place the
following ingredients in order;

3/4 teaspoon
of salt
-
1/2 teaspoon
of baking powder
-
1/2 cup, plus
1/8 cup of flour
-
1/3 cup of
cocoa
-
1/2 cup of
flour
-
2/3 cup of
brown sugar
-
2/3 cup of
white sugar
-
1/2 cup of
chocolate chips
-
1/2 cup of
white choc (chopped)
-
1/2 cup of
nuts (chopped)
Method:
-
Wash &
thoroughly dry the jar.

Mix together
salt, baking powder & 1/2 cup + 1/8 cup of
flour together.

In order of
listing, add each ingredient to the jar. So,
the salt, baking powder, flour mix goes in
first, followed by the cocoa, flour, brown
sugar etc., and ending with the nuts.
Attach a
decorative tag with cooking instructions:

Preheat oven
to 180°C.

Combine
contents of jar with: 1 tsp vanilla, 2/3 cup
vegetable oil, 3 eggs.

Pour into a
greased 9x9inch pan. Bake for about 20
minutes.
