Saffron Rice


Ingredients:
  • 2 cups of basmati rice
  • 4 cups of chicken or vegetable stock
  • 2 cups of water
  • 4 threads of saffron or ¼ teaspoon saffron powder

Method:
  • Rinse rice thoroughly under cold water until water runs clear.
  • Add stock, water and saffron to a pan, bring to the boil.
  • Add rice.
  • Bring to boil & then reduce heat, cover & simmer for 15-20 minutes.
