Roast Pumpkin Seeds

Roasting pumpkin seeds

When cooking with pumpkin, don't throw away the seeds. They make a tasty, healthy & inexpensive snack.   

Ingredients:

  • Pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • Salt

Method:

  • Preheat oven to 140˚C.
  • Place seeds into a colander, wash well ensuring all pulp & stringy bits are removed.
  • Pat dry & place into a small bowl.
  • Add the oil, making sure all seeds are well coated.
  • Place seeds on tray, sprinkle lightly with salt & roast for 25-35 minutes or until golden. Stir occasionally.
