Prawn cocktail with Marie Rose (cocktail) sauce

 

Ingredients:

  • 500g cooked, peeled prawns.
  • 1 iceberg lettuce.
  • Lemon wedges.

Method:

  • Wash & shred the lettuce, place into 4 serving dishes or glasses.
  • Place prawns on top of lettuce.
  • Pour Marie Rose sauce over the prawns.
  • Serve with a wedge of lemon.

Optional extras:

  • 2 ripe avocados, chopped.
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped.

Add to the lettuce mix.

Marie Rose Sauce:

Ingredients:

  • 300ml good quality mayonnaise.
  • 75ml tomato ketchup.
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice.
  • 1 teaspoon Worcester sauce.
  • Salt & pepper to taste.

Method:

  • Combine all ingredients & mix well.
