Potato bake
Ingredients:

1kg medium sized potatoes (sebago, desiree),
peeled & cut into 1cm thick slices

300ml thin cream
-
3 rashers bacon, finely chopped
-
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
-
1 onion, finely chopped
-
250g cheddar cheese
-
Salt & pepper to taste
Method:

Preheat oven to 180˚C.

Lightly grease a 2.6 litre capacity baking
dish.
-
Sautee the bacon, onion & garlic for 4 to 5
minutes, until cooked.

Place a layer of the sliced potatoes on the
in the baking dish.
-
Season with salt & pepper.
-
Top with a layer of the bacon, garlic, onion
mix.
-
Add a layer of cheese.
-
Repeat the layer with potatoes & bacon mix.
-
Season with salt & pepper.
-
Pour the cream over the mix.
-
Finish with a layer of cheese.
-
Cover in foil & bake for approximately 1
hour, until potatoes are tender.
-
Remove foil & bake a further 15-20 minutes,
until the cheese has melted & is golden.
