Parsley Sauce

Ingredients:

30g butter

1/4 cup plain flour

2 1/2 cups milk

1/3 cup grated cheddar cheese

1/3 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 tablespoon mild mustard

Method:

  • Melt butter in a saucepan, add flour & cook, stirring until it bubbles.

  • Gradually stir in the milk, cook, stirring until sauce boils and thickens.

  • Stir in cheese & cook over a low heat until it melts.

  • Remove from heat, stir in mustard and parsley.
