Sauteed Mushrooms

mushrooms sauteed

Ingredients:

500g medium sized mushrooms.
30g butter or 2-3 tablespoons olive oil.
1-2 cloves of garlic (optional).
Salt & pepper to taste.

Method:

  • Peel the mushrooms, remove the stalk & thinly slice.

  • Place the butter or olive oil in a frying pan over a medium to high heat.

  • Add the mushrooms & cook, stirring until browned & softened (around 5 minutes).

  • Add garlic (optional), salt & pepper. Continue stirring until cooked.
