Hungarian Goulash
Ingredients:

1kg chuck steak, cut into 1 inch
cubes.

2 tablespoons oil.

2 large onions, sliced.

2 cloves garlic, crushed.

1 1/2
tablespoons ground sweet paprika.

1 tablespoon flour.

4 tablespoons
tomato paste.

1 cup red wine.
-
1 1/2 cups
beef stock.
Method:
-
Heat oil in a saucepan, add onion & garlic &
cook until translucent.

Flour the steak & add to the pan in batches.
Cook until well browned. Return all meat to
the pan.

Add paprika.
-
Stir in tomato puree, red wine & stock.
Bring the mixture to the boil, continually
stirring.

Reduce the heat & simmer, covered, for 2
hours or until the meat is tender.

Serve on a bed of pasta or rice.
