How To Clean A Microwave

• Add 1-2 cups of water to a microwave safe bowl.

• Add a few drops of dishwashing detergent & the juice of half a lemon.

• Microwave water for 2-3 minutes, until boiling.

• Leave bowl in microwave, with the door shut for 10 minutes, allowing the steam to loosen the dirt.

• Carefully remove bowl of water from microwave.

• Remove microwave tray & clean in sink.

• Wipe down inside of microwave with a damp sponge.

Removing smells and odours from a microwave:

Method 1:

Fill a cup with white vinegar & cook until vinegar is boiling. Leave to sit in the microwave for 10 minutes to absorb the odours.

Method 2:

Half fill a small bowl with water. Cut up a lemon into wedges. Cook until water is boiling. Leave to sit in the microwave for 10 minutes to absorb the odours.
