Ingredients:

500g beef mince.

1 small onion, finely chopped.

1 egg, lightly whisked.

1 teaspoon of Worcester sauce.

1 cup of breadcrumbs, made from day old bread.

1 tablespoon of tomato sauce.

1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard.

1/4 cup of chopped parsley.

Salt & pepper to taste.

Method:

  • Combine all the ingredients in a bowl & mix well.

  • Shape the mixture into six equal sized, round patties.

  • Place on a plate, cover in cling film & refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  • Either add some oil to a pan & fry on medium heat for around 5 minutes per side. Alternately you can cook burgers on the BBQ.

  • Serve on a burger bun with salad & cheese.
