French toast

Ingredients:

8 slices of white bread
-
4 eggs
-
1 cup of milk
-
½ teaspoon salt
-
1 teaspoon of sugar (optional)
-
Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Method:

Lightly whisk eggs & milk in a bowl, add
sugar/cinnamon (optional).
-
Add a dab of butter to a frying pan & melt
over a medium-high heat.
-
Add bread slices to the egg mixture one at a
time, making sure each slice is thoroughly
coated.
-
Transfer bread to frying pan & cook on each
side until browned.
Serve with:
French toast can be served with sweet or savory
food, including;
-
Maple syrup.
-
Fruit.
-
Bacon.
-
Sprinkling of sugar.
